How To Make Time For What Matters

MAKE. TIME. FOR WHAT. MATTERS. 🧐

I hear a lot of friends say…I’m busy…I’m just so busy. I have so much going on! I can totally relate. There are times when you feel overwhelmed and bogged down with all that life and work throws your way. But here is the thing! 🤔

We only get one life to live! I like to let this reality sink in on the regular! 😅 It is easy to fill the little bit of time margin we have with things that aren’t fulfilling and aren’t brining us any closer toward our long term goals. So what do you do??

STOP 🛑for a minute today and jot down all of the things that you do with your time during the work week. This can take some though but trust me it will be worth it.

Over the next month of so, start to evaluate those things and add to the list anything that you forgot. Here are some things to think about while you are processing:

1️⃣ Do I have to do this

2️⃣ Is there an easier way to do this

3️⃣ Can I automate anything on this list

4️⃣ If I stopped doing something on this list would it matter in 5, 10, 20 years?

At the end of the month I hope that you are left with perspective. I hope that you have a clear view of the things that really make an impact in your sphere not just for today but long into the future. And lastly I hope that you are able to redeem back some time margin to spend it on what matters most to you!
